Smudge was a tiny bear cub when we met her at Nanning bear farm in 2014.
While we waited to move her and the other 100 bears to our sanctuary, we hand-reared her and taught her how to eat, climb, and play. She grew into a handsome and healthy bear.
But what Smudge really wanted and what she needed, was the love and friendship of another bear.
So we introduced her to Wai Kee, and the rest is history!
