🌟 This #VolunteersWeek we’re shining a light on Fordell Firs, one of our three incredible outdoor centres here at Scouts Scotland. 🏕️🌲🧗
We asked Neil Baird, Head of Outdoors and Adventure, and Stevie Carruthers, Centre Manager at Fordell Firs, to tell us what makes the centre so special — from climbing towers and zip lines to laughter around the campfire.
It’s more than just a place for adventure. It’s where young people challenge themselves, grow in confidence, and build skills for life — all thanks to the brilliant volunteers who help make it happen. 💚
Highly trained and full of passion, our volunteers create safe, exciting, and memorable experiences every day. Fordell wouldn’t be what it is without them.
