Two day Induction Training of Assistant Professors concluded

Описание: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma addressed the Assistant Professors in an Induction Training at Assam Administrative Staff Training College on Wednesday. In his address the Chief Minister narrated the journey of Assam's Provincialised Colleges and the faculties' ordeal during the process of provincialisation. He stressed on the critical role of the academic fraternity in improving the quality of education in the state.
The new College faculties now get the job through a transparent process. They should now focus on improving the academic performance of the College. They need to update themselves continuously to remain relevant in their knowledge domain.
324 asistant professors were present during the two day training. Secretary Higher Education Narayan Konwar, Director Higher Education Dharma Kanta Mili also addressed the trainees.
