DANCE This has been bringing young people together for 15 years, to express themselves and understand each others' cultures and to respect their communities. Performances from Alexander Jackson, a student-turned-teacher and MIA (Misses In Action).
DANCE This celebrated its 15th anniversary this summer at The Paramount Theatre where young artists share their culture through the art of dance. Seattle Theatre Group (STG), a non-profit arts organization that operates the historic Paramount, Moore and Neptune Theatres uses its unique position to be catalysts for community relationships and alliances. STG provides a wide range of education opportunities including professional development, artist engagement and access.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
