Four children have been killed and one hospitalised after being hit by a car outside a golf club in Sydney's west shortly before 8 o'clock on Saturday evening.
The children were riding their pushbikes along Bettington Road in Oatlands when they were struck by a four wheel drive vehicle.
Emergency vehicles blocked the road diverting traffic away from the crash, after which authorities led the driver away in handcuffs.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
