As Easter quickly Approaches the thought of that Pizza Dolce is driving me crazy. It is one of my all time favorite desserts. So today I bring my family recipe the way only my great Grandmother could make it, I hope you enjoy and Buona Pasqua a tutti !
Crust ingredients
2 1/2 Cups of AP Flour
1/2 Cup sugar
12 tbsp butter
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
6 egg yolks
Filling ingredients
2 lbs whole milk ricotta (drained)
1 1/2 to 2 cups confection sugar
6 egg whites ( stiff peaks)
1 tsp almond extract
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp flour
1 to 2 cups chocolate chips
