This is my third POV run vlog as I continue my journey toward the ASICS Gold Coast Marathon 2026.
I’m currently in Week 2 of 25 of my marathon training, and today’s session is an 8K easy run, with the goal of keeping most of the run in Zone 2.
I’m joined by my daughter, who’s new to running, so this was a relaxed, conversational run focused on enjoying the process rather than pushing the pace.
My heart rate zones are based on my Strava configuration, where I’ve set my max heart rate to 183 bpm. You’ll see real-time stats embedded in the video, including pace and heart rate, so you can follow along exactly as the run happened.
There’s no background music in this video — just natural running sounds. You may also hear me singing out loud at times to the songs I was listening to during the run 😄🎶 (keeping things fun and easy).
