It allows medics to quickly dress major bleed wounds, applying direct pressure, which stops the blood flow, thus enabling them to deal with further injuries.

The non-adherent dressing pad has a single directional action enabling the blood to pass through into the absorbent fibre. The super-absorbent pad is capable of absorbing over twice its weight in fluid, protecting the wound from contamination.

Step 1: Tear along the perforated edge

Step 2: Cover the wound with the pad

Step 3: Wrap around the wound - stretch elasticated bandage during application for added pressure

Step 4: Seal the pad at both ends so no bodily fluids escape

Step 5: Use the velcro to secure the bandage
