The movie is a comedy, and they wanted to explore stress in a comedic way. The film gives the characters a way to explore their life and career and see that they have value. And if you look at what you have lived and built you will see that it is valuable. The characters explore their dream jobs, and everything seems to go wrong. And it makes them wonder if maybe everything wasn’t so bad after all. He talks about his life and if the film reflects any of his experiences. He talks about the cast that he had to find during Covid. And how the actors really got into their characters and into each other and bonded. The film is relatable and sparks something in everyone who sees it. It is out now on Amazon Prime and Apple TV+.
Tom tells Kelli the title for the film was the working title but when people hear the title it immediately evokes a response about people’s lives and how stressful they are, and what they are going through to cope with that stress. The film deals with people's work lives and people forget how the career they have worked so hard at for many years is so valuable to them and their families because the stress gets in the way. He hopes people will watch and have an attitude adjustment about their own careers, and life and realize they have accomplished something. So, it has a message and hopefully laugh out loud funny. He wanted to give people a comedy they can connect with unlike a lot of the big budget studios. He talks about his desire to be a stand-up comedian and what it’s like to write & direct a movie.
