Описание: आजच्या ध्रुवीकरण झालेल्या समाजात लोकांची मते कट्टर होत जाणं साहजिक आहे. परंतु ह्या अनुभवाला तडा देणारी एक गोष्ट आहे. महानिर्वाण नाटक! ५० वर्ष होऊन सुद्धा हे नाटक का खुणावत राहतं हा प्रश्न आम्हाला पडत होता. जेव्हा नवीन पिढी हे जुनं नाटक बघते, तेव्हा त्यांना ह्या नाटकातून काही तरी intangible मिळते. सर्वच नाटकांच असं होत नाही. मग ह्या नाटकात नेमकं असं काय आहे? ह्याचा शोध आम्ही, नवीन संचाने घ्यायला सुरुवात केली. त्यासाठी काही लोकांना भेटलो. त्यांना महानिर्वाण बद्दल वाटणाऱ्या आस्था आणि कुतुहलातून हा माहितीपट आकाराला आला. नाटक कंपनी आणि फुल हाऊस एन्टरटेन्मेंटने या प्रयत्नांना उचलून धरलं. अगणित, अनामिक हात या माहितीपटाला लागून गेले ज्यामुळे आम्हाला बहुमूल्य गोष्टी मिळाल्या आणि त्या बहुतांशी record करता आल्या. या नदीचं मूळ असलेल्या, आपल्यातच वावरणाऱ्या, नाटकाच्या लेखकाची समाजात तावून-सुलाखून टिकून राहिलेली गूढ करुणा आज ही inscrutable riddle वाटते.

In today's polarised world, people’s views naturally become more extreme. Yet one thing still breaks through this divide: the play Mahanirvan, which continues to captivate even after 50 years. New generations watch it and still receive something deep and intangible. Not every play does this, so what makes this one special? We explored this question with our team, interviewed passionate people who adore the play and turned their insights and curiosity into a documentary. Full House Entertainment had our back. Countless unnamed contributors helped. We captured many precious stories.
At its heart lies the playwright’s enduring, mysterious compassion, a riddle that still survives, untouched and inscrutable, even after being tested by time and society.
