Unboxing my first pair of CNES shoes out of Vietnam. This is the AR-1 Adelaide model in patina burgundy. Its a goodyear welted shoe with a closed channel sole and a fiddleback pegged waist. The patina work is quite nice on these. Normal retail is $270 but right now are on sale for $190 which is really unheard of for this quality of craftsmanship. Note I made a mistake in the video on pricing which was in a different currency. It defaults to Sweedish dollars and not US dollars. I was even satisfied at the mid $300 price point but now that its under $300 and even under $200 on sale its an incredible bargain shoe. The only negative for me was the sizing. They ran a little large on me so I would have sized down abut half for the perfect fit. Their sizing chart indicates you should size up from your normal EU size but I am finding keep your normal EU size. Comment below if you have tried them and found the sizing different than me.
