Beijing Daxing International Airport (IATA: PKX, ICAO: ZBAD), is a large international airport located on the border of Beijing and Langfang, Hebei Province.
Daxing was designed by the late architect Zaha Hadid, in a starfish-shape with five concourses and four runways, with plans for up to three more in the future to handle 620,000 flights a year. It cost the Chinese government around $17 billion, according to the airport, and was completed in less than five years.
Daxing airport is located in a 67-km distance from Beijing Capital airport. Hence, you will need approximately 90 minutes for your transfer from airport to airport, if you are traveling by car or if you use an airport taxi or bus.
