This tightly edited footage of the Waterbird Refuge, Sydney Olympic Park was collected across 2017 and the first few months of 2018. As the name suggests, it is an exceptional refuge for a large variety of waterbirds, but also land-based species not covered here. And to think that such a nature wonderland is not far from the CBD of one of Australia’s biggest cities. Indeed, you may notice the high-density human habitation nearby.
