Tenor Choir Practice “Amen”, is from Part 3 of Handel's Messiah. "Amen" (53-B) is the final chorus of the “Messiah”. “Worthy is the Lamb” 53A and “Amen” 53B together form the conclusion of the Messiah. The “Amen” chorus is jubilantly sung , as the work of redemption is complete, and the promise of salvation fulfilled.
(Revelation 5:12) Worthy is the Lamb that was slain and hath redeemed us to God by His blood, to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing. Blessing and honor, glory and power be unto Him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. Amen.
