Massive Village Feast in Iran : Traditional Persian Chicken & Saffron Rice

Описание: Cooking for the Whole Village 🍗🔥 Giant Zereshk Polo with Chicken in Northern Iran

In the peaceful countryside of Northern Iran, Sareh and Negin prepare a huge traditional feast over a wood fire — Zereshk Polo with Chicken, one of the most colorful and beloved Persian dishes 🍗🍚❤️.

Today, the meal isn’t prepared for just one family. Large pots of food are cooked for the entire village, bringing everyone together through food, tradition, and community.

Sareh and Negin prepare the chicken and cook it slowly using traditional countryside methods over burning firewood 🔥. At the same time, huge pots of fragrant Persian rice are prepared and topped with colorful barberries and saffron, creating the beautiful Zereshk Polo that is served alongside the chicken.

A large fresh salad is also prepared with vegetables to complete the village feast 🥗🌿.

Once everything is ready, the Zereshk Polo and chicken are portioned into containers and distributed among the villagers, sharing the freshly prepared meal with the entire community 🤍.

From the crackling firewood and giant cooking pots to the colorful saffron rice and sharing food with neighbors, this episode captures the warmth of traditional Persian village cooking and rural life.
