Harry and Meghan's wedding attire are star attraction at Windsor Castle exhibition 'Relive the Royal

The outfits worn by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on their wedding day go on display at Windsor Castle on Friday (26OCT.2018).
Meghan Markle's wedding gown designed by Clare Waight Keller for the House of Givenchy and Prince Harry's frock coat uniform are the centrepieces of the "Relive the Royal Wedding" exhibition.
Caroline De Guitaut, Senior Curator of Decorative Arts for the Royal Collection Trust described the Duchess's gown, "It's made from a specially woven fabric, double silk cady which is completely unique to this dress, specially created for it and this gives the dress this wonderful luminosity."
De Guitaut added, "The dress itself does have a blue reference, the famous references that we all know towards when a bride gets married, but it is just a piece of fabric which her royal highness, from the dress her royal highness wore on her first date with Prince Harry."
Also on display are the outfits worn by Prince George and Princess Charlotte, as well as sketches of the wedding dress.
Harry and his wife, the former Meghan Markle, were very involved in the preparation for the exhibition according De Guitaut and they provide personal insights about their big day via an audio recording.
"Their input is obviously so vital, it's so personal, it's about their wedding day and they very generously consented to being interviewed, wanted to be interviewed to speak to visitors who come here to Windsor Castle so that they could tell the visitors all about the planning that went into their day, their fantastic attention to detail, their choices when it came to the music that played at the wedding ceremony, the flowers, and everything else to do with what went into that very special day," she explained.
