Knit Cable Headband Tutorial - Easy Braid Head Band

This is a quick braid (cable) headband using knitted cables. A perfect way to learn how to knit cables and make a stunning, fashionable hair accessory.

/// INSTRUCTIONS:
Braided Headband

1 ball of bulky yarn (#6) I used Lion Brand Hometown USA (5oz.) 81 yds.

Size #13US knitting needles

Cast on 14 stitches

Row 1.- Knit

Row 2.- Purl

Row 3.- Knit

Row 4.- Purl

Row 5.- knit 1, pick up 4 stitches with your cable needle, put them in the front of

your work, knit the next 4, knit the 4 from your cable needle, knit the last 5.

Row 6.- Purl

Row 7.- Knit

Row 8.- Purl

Row 9.- Knit

Row 10.- Purl

Row 11.- Knit 5, pick up 4 stitches with your cable needle and put them in the back of

your work, knit the next 4, knit the 4 from your cable needle,

knit the last one.

Row 12.- Purl.

Repeat these 12 rows.

I repeated them 5 times. You might need more

Measure the headband to go around your head, snuggly (not tight).

Sew the stitches to the beginning of your headband. Please watch tutorial.
