(24 Apr 1961) It's Alexandria at Pinewood: part of the magnificent set that was to reproduce the glory and romance of ancient Egypt on the screens of the world. Misfortune overtook the making of the film. The greatest misfortune of all has been the illness of the star. Liz Taylor, chosen to play Cleopatra, is seen here after her recovery from pneumonia in London. Now, as the film is not to be made in England after all, the set is being dismantled.
