Описание: Bogdan Paprocki, the great Polish tenor (1919-2010) sings Jontek's aria from Stanislaw Moniuszko's Halka, one of Poland's best known national operas. The plot is a fairly typical romantic tragedy, built around lost and confused love relationships which ultimately result in terrible tragedy and death. Here Jontek , in a lovely mountain song, describes his love for Halka (Helen) and the many wonders of nature she reminds him of, in the aria "Szumia jodly na gór szczycie." ("The Fir Trees Sigh On The Mountain Peaks."
