In this episode, we begin a 1,000 mile plus journey on one of the most remote roads in North America...The Dempster Highway.

The Dempster Highway runs north from the Klondike Loop and until recently, terminated at the small hamlet of Inuvik, NWT. The Canadian Government spent $300 million extending the Dempster Highway all the way to the tiny hamlet of Tuktoyaktuk, NWT and the Arctic Ocean.

Although we were warned that it would be a rough ride...we drove our coach Freyja, all the way!
