Michaels´s Music Lab - Episode 3
In this episode I will compare my ´98 Ibanez Gio GRX20 that I modified a while ago to my ´97 custom build japanese Ibanez RG7.
The Gio is my first electric guitar and is typical entry-level guitar from Indonesia which is still available today since its introduction in 1998. The RG7 is my second electric guitar and was built in the legendary Fujigen Plant in Japan and offers therefor better features like higher quality hardware. From 1998 until 2002 this model was then slightly modified and listed in the regular Ibanez catalog as RG7620.
I own them for almost 20 years now and today we will find out together how much the price affects the sound.
I really hope you enjoy it!
All riffs are recorded and mixed free of effects as compressors & EQ´s so that everyone can apply his own settings and compare for himself.
