Calling 911: An English Listening Lesson

This is a "bite-size" video. It's short so you can find it easily for future practice or reference. With a video of this length it is easy to repeat over and over until you understand each sentence with little effort.

Listening to a language is a natural way to learn. After all this is how babies acquire their native language. Listen to the video several times until you are comfortable and familiar with the sentences.

The speaking pace may be just right for you, but if it's too fast remember that this is close to the speed that English speaker talk. You'll be able to pick out some words. Each sentence is repeated four times so you have a chance to pick out more words with each repetition.
