In a recent operation, Neptune’s underwater robot was deployed on a container vessel under highly demanding conditions: strong currents and turbid waters.
Despite the environment, the robot successfully completed full inspection and cleaning of the vessel’s port side, starboard side, and bottom plate—covering both above and below the waterline. As shown in the video, heavy seaweed and other marine growth were efficiently removed, revealing a smooth and intact coating surface.
Throughout the process, inspection images were transmitted in real time and compiled into clear before-and-after records, which formed the basis of a standardized cleaning report delivered to the client.
This case demonstrates how Neptune’s technology ensures efficiency and reliability even in the harshest conditions—helping shipowners enhance operational performance while advancing their sustainability goals.
