Otan Sakam is a Santali web series in 6 episodes. It is an endeavour of the members of Angra Band. The series is based on a true story. The series showcases the life history of a young girl named Baha. The soft minded girl is very emotional and puts faith on people easily. The teenage girl commits serious blunder out of emotion for which she has to suffer lifelong mental anguish. She finds her life cursed and thinks of committing suicide which she cannot do for procrastination. There is almost no hope in her life and therefore she finds herself like a withered and floating leaf having no destination. The story shows Triangle love story but ultimately Baha remains loveless and dejected. The widowed mother of Baha namely Sukurmoni leaves no stone unturned to raise her children. The widowed women is also left dejected finding no reason for their misfortune. The story will unfold love, romance, emotion, blunder and anguish. We hope Otan Sakam will open the door of interest to drama loving santali community and pave the way to do such work extensively by new generation dramatists and content creators.
