HollywoodChicago.com is proud to take you inside the mind of legendary heavy metal drummer Paul Bostaph of the thrash metal band Slayer, Forbidden, Exodus, Systematic and Testament. We sat down with Bostaph on July 12, 2015 at Rockstar Mayhem Festival outside of Chicago in Tinley Park.
We speak with him about using a GoPro for his performances, sound preferences, comparing drumming for Slayer versus Testament and Exodus, hardcore punk’s influence on drumming, a crazy Slayer story involving their tour bus and kids throwing themselves at it in Turkey and more.
