Preamble:
The solution to this puzzle is a sequence of four film titles in chronological order. Listen to the medley, which features twelve excerpts from Stephen Sondheim songs and two red herrings, and write down their names, removing definite articles. Film titles one and two hide in plain sight, but only amongst the Sondheim Songs, and they have spelling errors. Correct these errors, and use the incorrect letters to form an anagram that will clue you to film title three. One of the red herrings is a clue to film title four, and the other red herring may or may not allude to one or more of the film titles.
N.B. I have also taken the creative liberty of removing one definite article from film title two.
