Esther Kerr Rusthoi, the author of this well loved hymn was in the full time ministry. She is also known as a musical evangelist, sharing Christ and the gospel through her musical masterpieces.

It will be worth it all also known as when we see Christ was written in her early 30's and it did really reflect her own outlook and experiences in life. She suffered physically and in fact died at a young age of 53. There had also been problems concerning her & her ministry within the church she belongs to. Yet through all these, the Lord has shown her that: no matter what trial we may face in the ministry God has placed us in, it will all be worth it when we see Jesus.

There is no greater joy than knowing that we have this blessed hope. ♡
