Описание: Mario Fernandez-Saldana is on trial for the murder of Jared Bridegan in St. Augustine, Florida, in 2022. The father of four was shot and killed in February 2022 with his two-year-old daughter in the car after he reportedly stopped to move a tire that had been left in the road. Prosecutors allege the tire was part of a ruse to kill Bridegan amid a contentious custody battle with his ex-wife, Shanna Gardner. Fernandez-Saldana, who is married to Gardner, is charged with first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit first-degree murder in relation to Bridegan’s death. Gardner is also accused of murder in Bridegan’s death and is scheduled to go to trial in September.
