Use Calibre To Fix Ebook Typos *Quick & Easy Demo*

Описание: Want to use Calibre to fix ebook typos? In this video I share a simple method to edit EPUB files using Calibre.

I created this to demonstrate the process for author Dale L Robert's on a recent project Archangel ink helped produce, entitled "Secrets of the Permafree Book."

As you may know, if you make your ebook available on platforms outside of Amazon, you may be subject to rules about mentioning competitor retailers in text. (See here for more    • Things To Consider and Watch Out For With ...   )

In this case, we needed to fix a "typo" and update the verbiage so Dale could resubmit his file, after being flagged for referencing Amazon on a Smashwords upload.

The tool we used is Calibre, a free cross platform app, available here: https://calibre-ebook.com/

It offers a number of useful features for the self-publishing author, including the ability to edit and update ebook files.

This video demonstrates a simple EPUB file update.
