IN December 1944 SS General Hans Kammler himself WAS present and ordered firing to begin towards Allied lines. This is the history of the V3 gun at Lampaden in Germany, and the read of the Units diary as it relates to the V3 gun (HDP) and Kammlers involvement.
But it is a fascinating story of how this gun concept changed hands over 170 years, and how the same SS General continues to show up whenever there is special weapons and projects on the table in the third Reich.
