The zoo promises a lot — over 100,000 m² of natural environment and more than 350 species — so I wanted to see for myself:
Do the animals look healthy? Do they have enough space? And how do I feel about zoos in general?
I also visit the parrot show, where the trainers are incredibly kind and respectful toward the birds. Still, it raises an important question:
Do animals really need to perform for us?
