The Bihar students broke through police barricades during a march towards the CM's residence in Patna. Police used water cannons to disperse them, prompting some protesters to break into a 'rain dance'.

The students have been protesting in Patna's Gardanibagh area for weeks. They are demanding a single-tier examination for Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC)-TRE 4.

The protesters are also seeking greater transparency in recruitment examinations. They have demanded BSSC recruitment exams and fair opportunities for Hindi-medium candidates.

Students have also sought cancellation of the 70th BPSC exam over alleged irregularities.
