Dragon Ball Z: "The Dragon Theme" - Rakeem's Re-Make

Описание: This is one of my top 5 favorite tracks from the show! The original version of this track from Volume 1 of the American CDs, was and is still one of the best things I’ve ever heard! Awesome atmosphere! Amazing beat! However, I always felt like the CD version couldn’t be the definitive version of the track without the awesome parts from episode 83 “Another Transformation?” If those parts would have been added in, it would have been perfect.

Mike Smith created the original version of the track and Scott Morgan played amazing keyboard solos on it! The original version of the track first plays when Dende summons the Namekian dragon, Porunga, during a very high stakes time for the heroes. Vegeta was snoozing and Frieza was halfway across the planet but on his way at top speed. The track tends to play during very important moments across the entire show and with good reason.

In some scenes it was played with new embellishments on top. Some of which I added to this re-make. My favorite time this plays is when Gohan is sending his Masenko attack at Frieza (3rd Form) and Frieza is struggling against the blast up until his tail hits the ground.

This re-make is basically what I would have liked the track to be like on the CD version! I hope I did it justice! I had a dilemma while creating this one, involving whether I should keep the keyboard solos the same as the CD version or change them. In the end, I decided to keep them the same so it would feel like it’s the same track you know and love but with more stuff. I don’t know if I made the right decision but I’m sure you relentless fans will tell me. :)
