Working Pro Bono for Designers - When Should You Work For Free?

Описание: Most of the time I advocate for creative professions to get paid top dollar for the work that they do for clients. Either charge full price or do the work for free. But, when should you work for free? When you work pro bono. “Pro Bono” in Latin means “for the public good” and usually refers to legal work, but it is also frequently done in the design, marketing and creative industries. Non-Profits, charities and social good companies need design services as much as any company, if not more, and rarely have the money it takes to purchase what they truly need. That’s where working pro bono comes in. As a creative professional, you can build great portfolio work, create positive design karma, grow your network and help a worthy company with its mission all at the same time.
