USB-C charging, fast charging, and powerbank circuits are the focus of this project, where I test and troubleshoot a custom board based on Texas Instruments’ reference designs. Instead of using common modules like the TP4056 or IP2368, I designed a PCB that can safely handle 1–4S batteries with configurable charging up to 66W and USB-C source/sink modes. After debugging firmware, fixing thermal issues, and learning from the TI forums, I finally got the system working as a proper USB-C powerbank-style solution.
