Feast your eyes on “Kawa-zaki”, featuring Zak Mousseau. This one’s a mash-up of ski-inspired steep loam and creative jibs, all tied together with the demeanour of a KX500; fast, loud, and unapologetic. It’s not about perfect lines or manicured landings. It’s about riding what’s in front of you, making something out of nothing, and carrying speed through terrain that doesn’t owe you anything.
Filmed in Zak’s hometown of Kimberley, BC, these are the trails and jumps he rides on the regular, a backyard zone where progression happens quietly, one session at a time. When the dirt is deep, the ruts get weird, and the lips aren’t always “built,” you either adapt or get punished.
The Dreadnought is right at home in these conditions. It’s the kind of bike that rewards commitment: carry speed, stay centered, and let the suspension do the work while you focus on the next hit. “Kawa-zaki” is a reminder that big terrain doesn’t need to be polished; it just needs a rider willing to charge.
