Georgians for a Healthy Future hosted part two of Pride Month’s discussion on Facebook Live featuring Trelyin Cooley, GHF’s Health Insurance Navigator, joined by Dr. Aaron B. Sims, an educator in the Atlanta region, to highlight the intersection of Pride month and Men’s Health Awareness month.
Their energizing conversation informs audiences about Pride and men’s health month, while focusing on various ways school systems are developing appropriate strategies and policies to effectively create safe spaces for LGBTQIA+ youth. Together, they also discuss a new special enrollment period to help more Georgians get covered, and identify how insured and uninsured Georgians can access mental health services.
