I visited a beautiful mountain resort, that is CHAMONG CHIABARI Mountain Retreat & Spa in June'21, just after COVID second wave lockdown.
It is an Offbeat location in Darjeeling district near Mirik, located around 70 km away from Siliguri. It takes almost 3 hours from New Jalpaiguri Railway Station(Siliguri).
It’s a beautiful luxury resort with all modern amenities and spectacular breathtaking view. You can chose all inclusive package i.e. Breakfast, lunch, evening snack and dinner combined with the room you choose. As there are only few rooms are there its always better to book early.
It is an amazing place to relax and chill with your family or friends, as it has a very calm and peaceful surrounding. In between the mountains and tea gardens, you will definitely enjoy your green tea or coffee and hot tasty food. They also arrange a small 2 hour trip to their Tea processing factory at nearby location where you can witness from tea plucking to packaging of different variant of Darjeeling Tea.
