ABUSUAPANIN KOFI OWUSU'S OWN PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVE CONFIRMED OUTSIDE ACCRA HIGH COURT

Video is circulating everywhere. His personal Representative stood before bloggers and journalists and said these exact words:

"He (the late Charles Kwadwo Fosuh, known to all as Daddy Lumba) is buried , at his residence in East Legon." Is this a case of "hidden in plain sight"?

No denial. No defence. Just straight CONFIRMATION.

LET US BE VERY CLEAR

In Accra, the Accra Metropolitan Assembly ONLY permits burials in DESIGNATED CEMETERIES. Awudome. Osu. Achimota and so on and so forth. These are the ONLY legal places.

East Legon residence? A private house? Living room floor? THAT IS NOT A CEMETERY. THAT IS A CRIME.

Abusuapanin Kofi Owusu has erred. And before anybody shouts "but tradition" or "but he didn't know" – IGNORANCE IS NOT AN EXCUSE. The law does not care what you knew. The law cares what you DID. And what he did is bury a man illegally.

This is a CRIME under the Registration of Births and Deaths Act. Full stop.

THE PART THAT NEEDS INVESTIGATION

How did he obtain a death certificate without a cemetery receipt? In Ghana, that receipt is MANDATORY before any death certificate is issued.

So who signed? Who looked away? Who helped him outfox the AMA?

This is why the Ghana Police Service must investigate IMMEDIATELY. Not just Abusuapanin. Anyone inside the system who facilitated this.

WHAT GHANAIANS ARE DEMANDING

We want Attorney General Dr Dominic Ayine to PROSECUTE Abusuapanin Kofi Owusu. Make him an example. Show that nobody is above the law.

We want the Police to INVESTIGATE the death certificate fraud.

We want the body of Daddy Lumba EXHUMED from that East Legon house and REBURIED at a designated cemetery where it legally belongs.

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

"His own personal Representative confirmed! Open and shut! Prosecute now!"

"Dr Ayine, you talk accountability. Here is your chance. Show us."

"How did he get that death certificate? Investigate the insiders!"

THE BOTTOM LINE

Abusuapanin Kofi Owusu thought he was above the law. He is not. The AG must act. The Police must act. AMA must act.

Exhume the body. Prosecute the offender. Investigate the enablers.

No exceptions. No mercy. The law is the law.
