1). Stack the item you want to duplicate from above or below the item you want to duplicate (in this case I want to duplicate 20 shotgun shells from 3 to 20).
2). Quickly (and I mean quick) switch from one option to the other using SPACEBAR to select. In this example, I know the glitch is successful once the 'Shotgun Shells (3)' dialog box is highlighted and not the 'Shotgun Shells (20)' dialog box.
3). Result.
This is extremely useful for players struggling to obtain S+ rank on Hardcore difficulty, as well as being one of the easier glitches in the game to pull off (only mouse movement and SPACEBAR input required).
