This strategy involves a 4-turn loop involving Anjo myth and this given team, which allows you to take no damage while still dealing a decent amount of damage per loop. In 2.8, this is technically a F2P team since you get Fairchild for free and Regulus as an assist.

In the myth array, Regulus usually gains a total of 4 moxie per turn with this given rotation (Leilani or Darley ult + 1 Regulus action + myth node). This allows her to use her ultimate every turn, which causes the team to be immune from all non-ult attacks. Since the myth also reduces the moxie of the boss by 1 per ult, the boss will never get to ult. Thus, after turn 2, you wouldn't take any damage other than self-destruct damage from the jellyfish.

The loop is as such:
R1: move Leilani (combine incants) - move Regulus - Regulus incant - Regulus incant
R2: Leilani ult - Fairchild buff - move Regulus - Myth - Regulus ult
R3: Darley ult - Fairchild ult - Leilani incant - move Regulus - Regulus ult
R4: Leilani ult - Fairchild buff - move Regulus - Regulus ult
R5: Darley ult - Fairchild ult - Leilani/Darley incant - move Regulus - Regulus ult
Repeat R2 to R5 until run ends.

Moving a Regulus incant (her ult) can be replaced with using a Regulus incant instead for slightly more damage. For R3/R5 (and repeats), you'd want to give moxie to the lower moxie of the two between Leilani and Darley. You can move Leilani or Darley incants and combine them to give them 2 moxie instead. If you don't give enough moxie to the lower moxie of the two, Regulus might only gain 3 moxie instead of 4 in certain rotations, which could break the loop.

RNG required here is to have 2 copies of a Leilani incantation in turn 1 so she could gain 2 moxie from moving an incant + combining them also why Unfinished Tune is used here). The boss' attack pattern in the first turn seems to be fixed (and somewhat contingent on which incantations you use).
