Описание: Today we’re doing something a little different on the channel - i’m going back in the time machine to when I was 10 years old, back in the good old year of 1992. At that time, Marvel Comics had just got popular again - with the Infinity Gauntlet Saga (and crossover comics) that came out in 1991, the Toy Biz action figures that were released, the cartoons (X-Men and Spider-Man), the Nintendo and Sega games that had come out….and these Marvel Universe Trading Cards! Today we feature the 1992 Series 3 edition of the Marvel Universe trading cards!

As the “Series 3” moniker suggests, this is the 3rd set that Impel & Skybox released: The first came out in 1990, and Series 2 came out in 1991. You’ll see on these cards that “1992” is prominently featured on the front, so you know exactly what set it belongs to.

All of the key heroes and villains are here, and there’s even an insert series of holograms to chase! And if you had one of these holograms in 1992, everyone wanted to trade for it, and you’d get kids offering comics, video games, baseball cards, candy, you name it. You were a king!

With the recent card-grading boom, these Marvel cards from the early 90’s have jumped up in value, and you can’t get a box of these for less than $200 bucks. In fact, it cost me $17 for just these four packs!

I’m looking to feature some more Marvel or DC cards in the future, so please let me know what sets from the 90’s I should be featuring. Keep in mind, I like the older stuff!
