Описание: In this video, join me explore Plaza Botero and Museo de Antioquia in Medellin. To get there, we simply took the metro and got off at the Parque Berrío station. Plaza Botero is a vibrant public space dedicated to Fernando Botero, one of Colombia’s most celebrated artists. The plaza features 23 of his iconic bronze sculptures, which are scattered throughout the area. Adding to the artistic atmosphere is the striking checkered building known as the Palacio de la Cultura Rafael Uribe Uribe, a government office dedicated to culture and the arts. Directly in front of Plaza Botero is the Museo de Antioquia. This museum houses approximately 5,000 artworks and artifacts. The current building was once the Municipal Palace of Medellín. Inside the museum, we explored several galleries namely El Barro Tiene Voz, Historia Para Repensar, Promesas de la Modernidad, and Sala de Arte Internacional which displays works by Fernando Botero alongside those of other international artists.
