The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) is going after a car driver involved in another gas-and-run incident at a gas station on May 3, 2026 in Barangay Bahay Toro. According to QCPD, the incident transpired around 3:16 a.m. at a station along Mindanao Avenue, also in the same village, wherein a still unidentified person, onboard a blue sedan, loaded fuel amounting to P1,500 and fled without paying. The incident was reported by the gasoline station attendant, prompting immediate police action, BGen. Randy Glenn Silvio, QCPD director, said. Silvio said that a flash alarm was immediately issued as lawmen reviewed the CCTV (closed-circuit television) footage from the area and nearby establishments to establish the identity of the driver. The public is encouraged to remain vigilant and cooperative, the QCPD said.
