Sometimes on the road Mike and I have what we call "throwaway stays" - meaning that we just need a couple nights with electricity, or in a certain location, or just to rest for more than a night. We pulled into Fred Gannon Rocky Bayou State Park thinking it would be just that - and we were shocked at how much we liked it ❤

At $16/night (plus some fees) it is SUPER cheap for electric, water, amazing waterfront views, and peace and quiet. We were so lucky to stumble across this state park 🏕 Sometimes it's the unexpected that becomes the best memories 🥰
