I will be visiting the most popular and famous Cafés, to give you a good idea of what to expect, its atmosphere and very brief history.

On this episode I visited Route 1066 Café, located on the A21 near Robertsbridge, East Sussex, is a beloved biker-friendly roadside diner known for its retro 1950s–60s vibe, hearty home-cooked meals, and welcoming atmosphere. With generous portions, strong tea and coffee, and friendly service at reasonable prices, it’s a popular stop for locals, travelers, and riders alike. The café’s spacious parking makes it a hub for ride-outs, including the famous May Day “Bike 1066” run and summer bike nights, while its rock-and-roll décor and occasional live events create a nostalgic, community-driven feel that makes it far more than just a pit stop.
