Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said the Congress humiliates the Left as an “escape strategy” as he criticized the party for not taking a stand on the Uniform Civil Code.
“Instead of stating its stand on the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) issue, it is insulting the CPI(M) as an escape strategy. Does the Congress have a clear position and policy at the national level? If so, what is it?” the chief minister said in a statement.
