Handlung / Story:

Das Duo – das Chamäleon Yooka und die Fledermaus Laylee – entspannt sich in ihrem Zuhause in Shipwreck Creek. Ihr wertvollster Besitz ist ein goldenes, magisches Buch. Der Frieden wird gestört, als der böse Konzernchef Capital B (eine Biene) und sein Gehilfe Dr. Quack (eine Ente in einem Kaugummi-Automaten) eine Maschine aktivieren, die alle Bücher der Welt aufsaugt.

The duo – Yooka the chameleon and Laylee the bat – are relaxing in their home in Shipwreck Creek. Their most prized possession is a golden, magical book. Their peace is shattered when the evil CEO Capital B (a bee) and his henchman Dr. Quack (a duck in a gumball machine) activate a machine that sucks up all the books in the world.
