Autodesk Inventor - Sheet Metal Willys Jeep

Описание: I've created this World War II Jeep model with Autodesk Inventor. I wanted to this Willys Jeep for a long time in Autodesk Inventor Sheet Metal, so I did :D. As shown in the video, it's still possible to create a flat pattern of this complex model of a Willys Jeep within the sheet metal environment of Autodesk Inventor. Most features used are typical Autodesk Inventor Sheet Metal features like Face, Flange and Cut but many others are used as well. From 3D part features to surface modeling features.

Just as a previous video I did, the Sheet Metal Formula Car, also Modeled in Autodesk Inventor, I wanted to do "a how to build this in Autodesk Inventor" video of this model, but that video would take too much time for youtube. Instead the video shows a walkthrough the Autodesk Inventor features. I try to explained some of the more non-common workflows I use in this Autodesk Inventor Sheet Metal Willys Jeep.

In a complex Autodesk Inventor Sheet Metal model like this, I like to use a lot of surface modeling. It just gives the user a lot of freedom to model whatever you like. When using surface modeling in Autodesk Inventor together with the powerfull Autodesk Inventor Sheet Metal features and some of the Autodesk Inventor part features you can create very complex and advanced Sheet Metal models, that will still produce your flat patterns
