Jackson applied audacity, speed, and surprise brilliantly that spring of 1862. Professor Robertson retraces the 600 miles Jackson's "foot cavalry" covered to fight 5 major battles and numerous skirmishes with odds of 3 to 1 against them. In the process he defeated three Union Generals and caused total dislocation of the Federal Offensive on Richmond.
